VEGA Scholarship
Recipients of the VEGA Scholarship will receive a $250.00 credit towards a 2013 Science or Computer Summer Camp at TELUS World of Science - Edmonton.
The VEGA Scholarship was originated in the late 1980’s by a retired school teacher and long-time TELUS World of Science Volunteer, Helen Tkachenko to encourage young scientists to further their interests and learning.

Details:
- A $250.00 scholarship will be awarded and applied towards the cost of a camp.
- Students must be between the ages of 6 and14 to apply and be an Alberta resident.
- Application deadline is Friday, February 22, 2013.
- VEGA Scholarship recipients will be selected by February 27, 2013.
Scholarship winners will be notified by mail and phone. - Students must provide own transportation to and from
TELUS World of Science during camp. - Camps range in price from $210.00 - $325.00 (2013 prices).
- Any additional cost beyond $250.00 must be paid for by the recipient.
- No cash back aif camp is less than $250.00.
